Urine Samples Being Left for Testing

urine-sample.jpg Any urine samples being left for testing will only be accepted with a completed urine testing form, which are available from Reception.

If someone is bringing a sample on behalf of a patient & doesn't know the reason why, then they will be given a form and asked to take the sample & the form back to the patient for the details.

The patient/person leaving the sample will be asked to wait whilst one of the nurses tests the urine. The nurse will dipstick the sample between patients, and will decide if the duty doctor needs to be informed for treatment or advice.
